[upbeat music] Of course, I had to start off the show with some, uh, some classic Sevendust Till Death

because it was announced earlier this morning, Sevendust with Theory of a Deadman, also Return to Dust. Coming to the Mountain America Center Wednesday, September 23rd, the Dead Seven Tour. Tickets go on sale this fr- uh, this Friday. There's also the pre-sale going on on Thursday at 10:00 AM. The code to enter for that is PEPPER, all capital letters. We have it, uh, written on our K-Bear Facebook page. Also, I believe our Instagram at kbear101fm. That way you can

copy/paste that code, buy your tickets if you wanna buy your tickets. But, uh, this week we'll be giving some away. At some point this afternoon, you'll be able to win a pair of tickets to that show before you can even buy them. Sevendust, Theory of a Deadman, Return to Dust again, September 23rd, the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls. It's Tuesday. Not to sound like Victor, but I am exhausted. For some reason... Well, last night, I stayed up a little too late, made the mistake there. Then woke up at around 5:00 AM,

felt the back of my head kinda hurting. I'm like, "Did I bang it against the wall when I was sleeping, or is this CPAP too tight?"

So then I went to my, my Motrin bottle, got two pills out of there, took that. Then I stupidly decided, "Hey, you know what? I'm gonna watch a YouTube video."

And I watched this guy, uh,

play Bully, the video game from 2008 from Rockstar. Yeah, uh, he was 100% completing it. Got bored of that, then I plugged my phone back in to charge and fell right back asleep till my alarm woke me up at 7:40, and, uh, yeah, I rushed over here this morning after that. Not the best morning. Still kinda tired. I feel like I'm gonna hit a wall at some point this afternoon. I'm hoping not, 'cause I wanna make this, uh, show as entertaining as possible. It's Peach's Pit Party right here on K-Bear 101. Also, don't forget that, uh, that show, the one that I just talked about, it's on our concert calendar at riverbendmediagroup.com/calendar. You can also find the shortcut to the concert calendar via the K-Bear 101 app. Yesterday, I made a video that went, uh, somewhat viral, got, like, 11,000 views on, uh, Instagram alone. I thought that was pretty cool. Uh, it was more so me talking about how, uh, tall people at concerts were just expected to go to the very back or be by the sound booth so that way we're not, quote, "in anybody else's way" kind of thing, and I find that kinda selfish. Like, obviously, I'm not gonna show up to a concert late and then just push my way to the front. There was somebody that tried saying, like, "Yeah, I've seen these tall guys before push their way to the barrier, push tiny people like me out of the way." I've been off to the side in a lot of different pits. I've been in the middle of different mosh pits. I can tell you, the biggest enemy that you're gonna have in there, and this is not gonna be a popular thing to say,

the biggest enemy you're gonna have are short women. I can tell you that right now. I've been shoved by these short women that, like, basically wanna get to the barrier

many times. The Lorna Shore show, there was one that was pushing everybody out of her way. If I were to have done the same thing, I would've been thrown out that venue for inciting violence. [laughs] If she was shoving people... It's supposed to be cute when she does it, right? It's supposed to be like, "Oh, she's always been a tough one, hasn't she?"

And then if I were to start, you know, just pushing people out of the way, it would look like, "Oh God, here comes the big ogre. He's angry. Calm down, big guy." [laughs] All righty. Let's, uh, let's stop talking about that. If you wanna see the, uh, the video, it's up on, like, every social media platform. I put it on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube as well. Just search for my name, Brendan Peach, or find our social media platforms at kbear101fm. Peach's Pit Party on K-Bear 101. When I first saw the headline for this story, I thought it was just a Karen, uh, going full unleashed in her, uh, suburban neighborhood. No, she was, uh, under the influence. This lady by the name of Wendy, she was arrested for allegedly trying to mow down a child,

uh, that was riding a dirt bike.

She... Oh, I'm watching the video here. She's like... She pops a U-ey as, uh, she sees the kid. He's just casually going down the sidewalk. He's looking back like, "Why is this lady turning around for?" And then she gets up onto the sidewalk and drives after him. He has to go full speed. She ran over like a... She ran over something, made her car get some airtime. Wow.

How traumatizing for that poor kid.

I wonder what her, uh, brain was thinking. "Yeah, I, I might earn some bonus points for running this child over."

And what's even worse is that there's somebody filming the entire thing. That's how I was able to watch it. There's somebody off to the side. I mean, what are you supposed to do in this kind of situation? Like, are you supposed to, like, just tell the kid, "Hey, just come over here," because then the car's gonna come towards your house. Like, if you're a concerned neighbor just standing outside and you see this unfold.

Sure enough, if you say, "Hey, kid, come over here. Quick, quick." Like, "Get in the garage." What's that drunk lady gonna do? Smash into your garage? Go into the back of your car? Hit both you and the kid?

What are you supposed to do in that situation? No, I'm not asking that for the Peach Throne during the afternoon show. "Hey, if you were being chased by a lady in, in a car and you're on a dirt bike, what do, what would you do?" No, not doing that. I'll find a different, different question for later on this afternoon. Just a reminder that, uh, this Friday and Saturday, both days from 10:00 AM to noon, uh, Victor and I are going to be at different Footwear Outfitter locations here in East Idaho. Uh, Friday-I'll be making my way down to Pocatello. Again, 10 to noon. I believe the, uh, Footwear Outfitters is across from Herning.

Let me look it up real fast 'cause I wanna make sure you get it correct. Is there more than one Footwear Outfitters in Pocatello? I would assume not, right? There's only one in Idaho Falls.

Across... Yeah, so located across from Herning between Papa Murphy's and Jiffy Lube.

It's their annual Keen event. You can score 15% off regular priced Keen footwear, clearance items up to 40% off, even deeper discounts all weekend long. The, uh, Keen reps will be on site showcasing the brand new 2026 styles, answering all of your questions.

Plus, uh, if you, like, take a selfie at the event, post it on social media, you can score extra discounts and free swag. 10 to noon, Friday in Pocatello, Footwear Outfitters. I will be there. Victor will be at Footwear Outfitters on Saturday, May 9th from 10 to noon. I won't be at that one because, uh, I'll be making my way down to Salt Lake City to go interview Vanna, go see them with Deadlands, uh, Chandler Layton, I believe as well, Eyes Set to Kill, a bunch of, uh, underrated female-fronted bands that you should all really check out, and I'm excited to talk to Vanna. She seems like such a fun person. And, uh, Maddie will be there as well from down the hall. It's gonna be such a fun, fun time. Check out that concert calendar. And then also at these events, I for- I almost forgot to mention this. I can't believe it. At these, uh, Footwear Outfitters events, if you come see us either day, we'll be doing two separate drawings for pit tickets to go see Papa Roach Set It Off, Autumn Keens live at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheater July 23rd. Again, this Friday in Pocatello, Footwear Outfitters. Come see me 10 to noon. Get signed up to win those tickets. Here's Ghost, Mariana Cross on K-Barra 101. [whooshing sound] I don't think I talked about this at all yesterday. That or my, my memory is just awful now. Uh, Spirit Airlines,

they're officially out of business. And I watched a video of some, uh, some girl that was at the Orlando Airport about to board her flight. It got delayed three times. She was flying obviously with Spirit. Got delayed three times, and then it got canceled, and then the staff found out that Spirit Airlines [laughs] is no more. So everybody who had a Spirit flight that day specifically at that airport had to line up and book another flight with another airline to get themselves out of Orlando. And now I see here there's this TikTok campaign to buy and revive Spirit Airlines.

It has raised more than $88 million.

Over the weekend... Uh, that's funny. This person's name is Hunter Peterson. I worked with a, a girl with that exact name. Sounds like a pretty common name actually. Uh, Hunter Peterson, a content creator and voice actor, posted a TikTok video that now, uh, boasts more than four point six million views proposing a plan to purchase Spirit Airlines through crowdfunding. Why save it though? Like, I'm not trying to be the downer here, but why specifically that airline? Like, wasn't that airline supposed to be, like, the biggest joke? Like, it was just awful to fly Spirit.

Uh, that's what I thought at least. I thought it was supposed to be one of the worst flights you could get on. Like, I've seen-- Like, I've tried looking at, like... You know what people do when they go on Google and they look up flights to, to different places, but they don't actually book the trip? They just look at it and go, "Maybe one day I could afford that trip."

I was looking at different flights to many different places, and Spirit Airlines had the longest flight. It was the cheapest, but instead of being, like, a, a gentle three-hour ride, no, it was a nine-hour flight. Nine hour... Uh, actually, you know what? A nine-hour voyage with different Spirit flights to get you to your destination. I mean, we'll see. We'll see if all of a sudden Spirit Airlines becomes, uh, Hunter Peterson Airlines, I guess. [whooshing sound] After the NBA regular season had many fans complaining about players not giving 100% effort or taking games off altogether because of load management, the playoffs have been intense. Fight, uh... Not fight. Wow. Eight teams remain in the hunt for a championship, including the, uh, New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers. Joel Embiid wants the 76ers to have every advantage in the upcoming series against the Knicks and went so far as to plead with Sixers fans to not sell their tickets to Knicks fans. He said, "Knicks fans travel. They buy tickets. There's going to be people who will sell the tickets because they need the money. Don't do it. We need you guys. We need the support, and we need them to be extremely loud. If you, if you need money, I've got you." Of course, he's got it 'cause he has one of the biggest contracts in the NBA. Some football fans wish that the Super Bowl just rotated between party cities with warm weather, such as New Orleans, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami. For now, take Miami off that list because Hard Rock Stadium no longer meets the NFL's, uh, requirements for hosting a Super Bowl. It's not about the stadium itstel- itself, but instead the area around it, which has changed to accommodate the annual Miami Open tennis tournament and F1 events. The last Super Bowl in Miami was in 2020, and for the event to return, the owner, Stephen Ross, is going to have to make an investment to get things improved to the league's exp- expectations.

Uh, why not talk about some fishing here? 15-year-old Hunter Rohrer of Buchanan. Is it Buckhannon? Buckhannon, West Virginia, has rewritten the West Virginia fishing, uh, record books after landing a massive golden rainbow trout. Rohrer's fish weighed 11.84 pounds, measured 28 inches in length, the state record for both categories.

The truly historic, uh, feat topped a, uh, length record that had stood since 1987, nearly 40 years. Not too shabby. Good for you. Good for him. Good for Hunter. That does it for your Shot Clock Sports Update right here on K-Barra 101. [whooshing sound] We're getting way too close to living in a sci-fi movie. Might as well play my, uh, X-Files music here in the background. A Southwest flight got delayed-Because of a robot passenger.

An actual humanoid robot by the name of Bebop was traveling for work and had its own seat on the plane, and apparently the crew started, uh, [laughs] starts looking at this thing like, "Are, are we seriously doing this right now?" Because the robot had giant lithium batteries that didn't meet the airline policy. So now the plane's delayed while employees try to figure out how to handle, uh, RoboCop's business trip.

That's where we're at as a society. Robot paperwork. The funniest part is that, uh, the robot, or yeah, the people behind the robot bought it a seat.

How did this thing go through security? Did they just

walk through carrying it and then said, "All right.

You have a great trip now." And then it just went right onto the plane and caused a ruckus?

I feel like I would kick that thing over. Delayed my flight. I g- I try... I'm all excited to go back home,

go see my family. I sit down in my seat. I wait for everyone else to board. All of a sudden this tiny 70 pound humanoid robot comes on, ruins the whole trip, makes us delayed by like five hours. We're waiting in the air- the, uh, airport. I kick the thing over, throw water at it, short circuits. Take that loser. Yeah, uh, here's today's reminder that, uh, Hollywood will literally hire, uh, anybody as long as they, uh, kinda forget what happened in the last movie. Adam Scott just, uh, admitted he auditioned for, should I call it Heckraiser still? Heckraiser 6 after already dying in Heckraiser 4.

Yeah, he died in the, in the, in that movie. His character died. Completely done, face bitten off, end credits, you know, the whole thing. Apparently his thought process was basically, "Eh, may- may- maybe they won't notice." Good for you.

I think it would be funny if he somehow got the part and they just didn't know at all. The movie gets released, [laughs] and then people are like, "Hey, wait a minute. Didn't this guy die two movies ago? Why is he still here?" Why exactly is there a Heckraiser 6?

Once you get past three, I feel like it's too many for any series. Like Home Alone 4, why does that exist? Toy Story 4.

The Toy Story trilogy would've gone down as one of the best trilogies of all time, but yet they made a Toy Story 4 and ruined it. I feel like the only truly successful, uh, movie series with multiple, more than three movies,

is Star Wars. If there's any others, let me know. 208-535-1015. Well, I got a Florida man story for you. A, uh, someone at a Taco Bell in Florida, uh, somebody tried the oldest trick in fast food history. Asked for a water cup, gets soda instead.

That has happened a- about 14 billion times since fountain drinks were invented. But this employee allegedly escalated it straight to action movie levels.

Argument, uh, starts. People are yelling. Phones come out, and according to police, the employee pulled a gun and started firing only because this customer filled up their water cup with soda.

We're talking about soda here. Not to sound like Allen Iverson. We're talking about soda.

[laughs] Someone just walks in, thinks it's okay to do that.

This fast food worker making not enough money, having to deal with all these different people, especially out there in Florida. Now, I've previously talked about how fast food workers should fight back against the Karens who make their life just absolutely miserable at work. I didn't mean to take it this far. Don't take it this far to where you're shooting a gun at somebody. Geez.

[laughs] I need to be nicer to the Taco- the Taco Bell employees here.

I've been, uh, kind of rude to them as of late. No, not necessarily. They've been actually kinda rude to me. There's one particular location, I'm not gonna call them out on the air, but one of them got really upset with me that I didn't pull into the mobile orders lane. I instead pulled into the regular lane because when I pulled up to that drive-through, there was like some junk mobile, some guy driving this really beat up, old, rusty car, and he went in the mobile order app lane, and then he backed up and went over the curb. I'm like, "No, thanks. I'll just go to the other lane and get out of that guy's way." I get to the window and she's like, "Oh, if you had a mobile order, you should've went to the mobile orders lane."

And I just went, "Well, the guy behind me was backing up erratically." Maybe I shouldn't have talked back, 'cause who knows? Maybe she would've pulled a gun on me. Imagine having this as a, uh, first world problem. That you buy a yacht so large it cannot, uh, park at standard luxury yacht docks, forcing it to remain in shipping channels.

Jeff Bezos' $500 million yacht,

417 feet long. I think it's called Koru.

The, uh, super yacht has been forced to anchor offshore or alongside oil tankers, including incidences at Port Everglades in Florida and near the [laughs] Monaco Grand Prix where it could, it could not fit in the crowded harbor. Just imagine [laughs] Jeff Bezos coming through. That's the equivalent of, uh, one of those giant lifted trucks, like a Ford F650 that's taller than me, trying to park next to you at Walmart. Like, get outta here, dude, with your obscene vehicle. And what's funny is that now he's trying to sell it. 'Cause when you- wh- when you're a boat owner, like they always say, like, the best time to have a boat or the best days that you... What, what, what, what's the whole phrase again? I feel like such a loser for not being able to remember the, uh, the phrase. It was like the best days you have a boat are the first day you buy it and the day that you sell it. That kinda thing?Uh, for me, I've always wanted to have, like, some kind of boat to take to, like, Lake Havasu. Like a, a nice little simple boat, not something as big as me going into the water, and then he's trying to sell it, and who's gonna buy it because you can't park it anywhere. You have to take a boat to your boat. Take a boat to your yacht. Here's Black Veil Brides, Vindicate, on K-Bar 101, or Vindicate, I should say, on Peaches Pit Party. Today's What the Headline takes us to Florida yet again. A couple now facing charges because they apparently decided to solve a neighborhood dispute with a, uh, backyard bonfire. Here's what happened. A guy's drone loses connection during a late-night flight, lands in somebody's backyard. It's annoying, sure. Felony-level annoying? Apparently yes, too, because when the owner showed up to retrieve it, the woman answered through the Ring camera with, "You don't have a drone anymore."

And according to police, the couple admitted they threw the drone into a fire pit and just burned it.

I understand people being irritated with drones flying around their house. Nobody wants to feel like they're being filmed while grilling burgers in gym shorts, that kind of thing, but there's a big difference between, "Hey, can you stop flying that over my yard?" and, "We have destroyed the aircraft." The drone was worth about $1,200.

So I'm hoping that he's able to get some money back from these people, like they owe him all that money and more for emotional damages, as they would say. That is today's What the Headline right here on K-Bar 101. Linkin Park on Peaches Pit Party.
