Ep. 396 - "What's Papa Roach?" Bro... We're Cooked. - 07/13/2026

[upbeat music] We are in fact out here Monday, July 13th. It's Monday the 13th.

I am Peaches. If you wanna get ahold of me, you can over at 208-535-1015. I hope you had an awesome weekend. I decided to, uh, walk the Greenbelt Saturday evening during the hottest part of the day. What a dumb decision. That was my first of two dumb decisions because, well, as I made my way about halfway through the Greenbelt loop... There goes the music bed just randomly stopping again. As I was about halfway through the, uh, Greenbelt loop,

I was looking at my phone, scrolling, trying to find different songs to play to pump me up for my evening walk in the blistering sun,

and I didn't pay attention to where I was walking, and there was a little bit of a, little bit of a hole in the concrete. It wasn't that deep of a hole. It was a little bit of an indent, and when I stepped down, my right foot went sideways. I had twisted my ankle.

Luckily, there was nobody around me that I saw, and I just yelled, "Oh, F..." as loud as possible,

and had to hobble all the way around the Greenbelt to get back to my car. It's a little swollen. Not nearly as bad as my, uh, the, the time that I broke my ankle or the other time shortly after that, that I, uh, was playing an adult league basketball game, and I jumped for the tip ball, landed on the dude's foot, sprained it that way as well. Back then it was all black and purple and gross looking. Today it just...

It's about the size of a tennis ball. And my friends w- with my friends I- I went to, uh, my friend's apartment complex,

swam with them yesterday, got sunburnt 'cause I forgot specific parts of my body that needed to be, uh, needed to have sunblock on. So my left shoulder's all red. My, the w- my, part of my thigh's all red. Make sure to wear sunscreen, especially if you're working outside. Stay cool out there. It's Peaches Pit Party right here on K-Barra 101. [screen whooshes] So I was at the gym on Saturday, like I usually am, you know, pumping iron. No, Saturday mornings are when, uh, I meet up with these, uh, these guys on, on the basketball court. We play a couple games of pickup basketball, and there's a wide variety of people.

Tall, short, young, old,

and it was me, some other guy that was in most likely his mid-30s, and I think there was one other older guy that was there, but he left for his, uh, beard appointment. So it was me and the older guy

and a couple of these, uh, 20-something year old kids.

Probably early 20s, maybe even like late teens.

I, I would say late teens. The, but the, the one guy was like, "Hey." The older dude was like, "Hey, why don't you, uh, turn on some music? Let's get this party going." So he pulls out the JBL speaker

and starts playing mumble rap. Starts playing like, "Yeah, I got it in the crockpot, uh, uh." You know, that kind of music.

And so I was talking with the, uh, the other older guy, and I was like, "Hey man, you know, Papa Roach." I said... I don't know how I came, how Papa Roach came about, but I said, "You know, Papa Roach is gonna be in Pocatello here soon. Looking forward to that."

I think I was talking about my job, because he was talking about his job, and he was like, "What do you do for work?" I'm like, "Well, if you ever listen to, uh, K-Barra 101, I'm on in the afternoons.

And, you know, Papa Roach, we're gonna be at that show." And he's like, "Oh, I haven't heard from those... I haven't heard of those guys, or heard from those guys in a long time." He hadn't listened to those guys in a long time, is, is what I meant to say. And so then he started asking all the young kids, "Hey, have you guys heard of Papa Roach?" And all the young kids are like, "No, what's that? Is that some sort of show? Is it a TV show? What, what, what is that?" And so we were able to convince the one guy with the speaker to play Papa Roach after one of the mumble rap tracks,

and all the kids were like, "What on earth is this, man? This stuff's garbage." Me and the older guy were kind of offended for Papa Roach. We're like, "This is garbage to you guys?

More garbage than the put it in the crockpot, yeah, uh," you know, that, that type of mumble rap, whatever they had blasting with the same old beat, same old lyrics. It'd be so easy to be a mumble rapper. Just gotta get the trap beat going behind me, start mumbling about random stuff.

But anyway, this whole story was to talk about how we're giving away tickets, a last resort kind of giveaway, 'cause we're 10 days away from that concert at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheater. Papa Roach, Set It Off, Autumn Kings, July 23rd. If you haven't won tickets with us yet, make sure to listen extra carefully this entire week. We'll give out that cue to call and, uh, hopefully hook you up some free tickets. Yeah, that's about it, you know. Here's Architects, "Broken Mirror" on K-Barra 101. [screen whooshes] Peaches Pit Party right here on K-Barra 101. If you've been listening to the show as of late, you would know I've, uh, amped up the diet, amped up the exercise. I've also amped up the pill intake, [laughs] which is not my favorite. I got myself a daily multivitamin. I feel like such an old man saying that. That I wake up in the morning, I have my, uh, routine where I get to work, obviously. I allow myself to kinda just wake up, 'cause I don't have caffeine in the morning anymore 'cause of the whole AFib heart thing. So the most caffeine I'll have is from these Alive mushroom elixirs, which are just black tea and

raw apple cider vinegar. You know, it's like 20 calories. It's just black tea for the most part, but it's carbonated, and it's supposed to taste like cola. Does it actually taste like cola? Uh, well, [laughs] there's only, there's only one other person that I know that likes this beverage, and that's Maddie from down the hall, and I'm shocked that she does. I thought she would've hated it, but, uh, sometimes I'll drop her off one too. But anyway, yeah, I'll have one of these to wake me up.

And then I'll start downing my pills, which sounds a whole lot worse than what I'm actually doing.

I'll, uh, take my heart medication, take the anxiety medication. I'll take my multivitamin after I've had my yogurt in the morning. This, this goes to show I'm eating like a 65-year-old man. I'll have my Greek yogurt with blueberries, 'cause, you know, they're s- they're nice and soft. They're, they're good on my old teeth.

Yogurt with blueberries, banana. Once I'm done with my two yogurts with the blueberries and the banana, then I'll have the daily multivitamin 'cause I think you're supposed to take that with food. I'll have my vitamin D3, my, uh, fish oil as well. Gotta love that fish oil.

All those, uh, liquid soft gels. I stupidly opened up the container of these soft gels in my bag, my, my fanny pack of pills that I carry around.

So the fish oil's still-- I'm still finding remaining fish oil pills in this fanny pack. It, it goes to, again, goes to show how old I'm acting

with these, with this fanny pack full of medications. I got some omeprazole, got some Tylenol as well. I'm ready to go for all the situations. All right, I guess we'll talk about this. This woman has drawn, uh, mixed responses after wondering whether she should, uh, break up with her boyfriend over his, quote, "disgusting chip addiction."

She wrote on... Where, where, where did she write this at? Some type of subreddit?

Let's see. It's loading here. Oh, she put- posted it on mumsnet.com/talk/amIbeingunreasonable. [laughs] Mumsnet.com. All right.

She wrote that she had been dating this guy for months and that he is kind, treats her well, but she got the ick after watching his, uh, junk food habit.

She says he eats about three bags of chips a day. Now, are we talking, like, those that you get in a variety pack? Those small ones that they used to give at, like, kids' birthday parties? Nobody would touch the, uh, the regular Lays. Everyone would go for the Cheetos, the, the, uh, Doritos.

He doesn't wash his hands after eating these chips too, which often results in him having gross synthetic chip dust all over his fingers and fingernails. She continues, "Even more disgustingly, after he's finished with the packet, he arches his back-- he arches back his head and empties the crumbs into his mouth."

I don't know. I really don't think that's disgusting, but... "But the most disgusting is sometimes after finishing a packet, he will blow up the packet like a balloon and pop it." How is that disgusting?

"This has resulted in me being sprayed with crumbs." [laughs] "I've also found scrunched-up chip packets way- wedged behind his bed." All right, come on. There's a trash can probably somewhere. Get up and throw the bag away, dude.

Almost as though he couldn't be-- Yeah, he can't be bothered to walk to the trash can. Things got worse when they went on a vacation to Spain, and he wouldn't eat any of the local food, wanting to go to McDonald's and eat chips instead. Oh, they're talking about fri-- Wait. Oh.

Did he want to go to McDonald's specifically for the fries?

I mean,

just dump him. You know? Uh, uh, simple as that. If you don't like it, dump him. I just wanna hear that conversation happen. "Yeah, I don't like your disgusting chip habit. I didn't know that, uh, you had this when we first started talking. If you don't lay off the Doritos, we're done." You know? [laughs] That's... What a, what a, what a dumb thing to... What a-- It's not really disgusting. It's just a funny predicament. Here's Poppy. Time Will Tell on K-Bear 101. Tom Brady threw to dozens of receivers over the years who helped him get all those Super Bowl wins, but it seems like he doesn't like dealing with their personalities. In an appearance with the Kelce brothers on the Kelce brothers' podcast, uh, New Heights, he said that since wide receivers have to work harder without getting to touch the ball, that's the only position on offense that requires a lot of extra energy and attention, so they get frustrated so easy, and that comes out in these, uh, NFL off-seasons.

Uh, I, I guess there's that to talk about here in the Shot Clock Sports Update. If you dream of owning an NFL team someday, we suggest you start saving now or win the Powerball. The Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are being sold for a record, uh, almost $10 billion to the Khosla family, which owns a minority interest in the San Francisco 49ers. That tops the previous record set in 2023 when the Washington Commanders were sold for $6 billion. And last but not least in this pretty uneventful, uh, Shot Clock Sports Update, the Stanley Cup is considered by many... Oh, I've already talked about this.

Uh, the Stanley Cup is considered by many the coolest trophy in sports because the winning team gets the names of players, coaches, owners, and support staff engraved on it. But if you didn't hear me talk about this last week, the Carolina Hurricanes owner, Tom Dundon or Tum, Tom Dundon, and the NHL too for allowing it, ticked off some fans by devoting six spaces to family members who did not contribute to their recent championship. Tom Dundon was joined by his wife and their five kids among the 52 names put on the cup, and since the children's ages ranges from the early 20s to elementary school, it's pretty clear that they weren't involved in day-to-day operations or personnel, personnel decisions. So yeah, I guess there's that to talk about too. That is, that's, uh, your Shot Clock Sports Update right here on K-Bear 101. Idaho's only rock station, K-Bear 101. Now, when somebody posts a specific band, like on their story, for example, their Instagram story. I know someone who, uh, always posts what they're listening to at the gym on their Instagram story, and they're trying to, uh, share their, their hardcore taste, I think, or I, I don't know. They're mostly, uh, listening to whatever's on the K-Bear playlist, to be quite honest with you. But there's this one particular post, this one post that, uh, this person made a few days ago, where they posted an AI band. That band, Bleeding Verse, that's popped up from time to time. Yeah, they posted that band, and do I, do I be that guy that says, "Hey, that's, that's entirely an AI band. You shouldn't support them"? Or do I just let them-

be happy posting this band. I guess I don't want to be like that kid from the Polar Express that goes, "You know what kind of train this is? You know what kind of band you're posting? That's obviously AI band." [laughs] I mean,

people can listen to whatever they want to listen to. And me personally, it's like if somebody's asking... If somebody's entirely-- If somebody's posted before that they're against AI, but then they post that AI band, then I'll say something. But if they're just enjoying that band and they like the way that it sounds, I mean, good for you. I'm sure I'm not gonna be the only person to tell that person, "Hey, uh, that band's AI. You should stop listening to them." I was once again, uh, scarred for life logging into my Facebook over the weekend,

and I had to see, uh, Jade wearing short shorts

right in front of, uh, Old Faithful. I guess he went camping, and he, he was out of the office since like Wednesday. It was nice and peaceful without him here, you know. I don't, I don't receive those emails when he's gone that says, "Hey, where's this? Where's this at?" You know? He'll send you an email first thing in the morning. "Why hasn't this been made yet? What's wrong with you? Get that posted, you moron." [laughs] All, all joking aside, uh, I'm glad that Jade was not the one who was, uh, seriously injured by a bison. I do feel bad for this, uh, this old man that has, uh, gone viral. You know what sucks about having something like this happen to you in the modern day, modern age in twenty twenty-six? Is that not only does it happen to you, but also it gets shared everywhere. Nate Eaton posted it, then I saw it get shared by a bunch of other news sources. Apparently, it was, uh, all over Reddit. This man, I don't know how old this man is, but he's old enough to have a grandkid.

And he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. This agitated bison. You can tell this bison was just upset for whatever reason. It was rolling around, rolling around in the dirt for

who knows why. Angry-- This angry bull bison then chased after this poor old man, and I think there was a lady next to this old man that was, uh, wearing a Dolphins jersey. I did see the joke that, look at... Look, there's Miami getting rocked by Buffalo even in the off-season. [laughs] His name's Mike McLeod. He's a professional photographer from Bozeman.

He was following all the rules, all right? I'm gonna defend this guy because he was getting trashed in the comments by these people. "Look what, look what happens when you act like an idiot in a national park." Clearly, he wasn't. Clearly, he was just on the trail. Again, wrong place, wrong time. Was just minding his own business. This dumb, angry animal runs up and just launches him eight feet into the air.

Did he like break a hip? What happened to the man? Oh yeah, there's the picture of the bison just rolling around. He's in the background just minding his business. He's on the trail. The National Park Service even said he was at a safe dif- distance, at least a hundred yards away from the bison. They stopped for, for some pictures while the bison laid down, got back up, then the bison lost his mind. So I hope this guy can recover fast. Feel bad. Uh, don't be a tool, Ron. I'm not saying this guy was, but for those people who are tempted to take a picture with the fluffy cows, don't do it. I hate to ask this question, but why exactly do snakes exist? I know we've, uh, had those people in. I forgot exactly the name of their, uh, their sanctuary, their, uh, rehabilitation for... No, it's not, not necessarily rehabilitation. But we've had, uh, those people stop by the studio with snakes and, uh, sure, it was nice to carry around the snake and all of that, or see the different snakes, see how big snakes can actually be. But rattlesnakes, dude, let me tell you, those things are the worst thing on the planet, all right? What, what exactly, what positive things do rattlesnakes, uh... What, what, what do, what do rattlesnakes do that's good for the planet? Uh, do they take care of the mice population? Is that it? Well, I feel like all snakes take care of the mice population. But every single time I hear about a rattlesnake, it's about... Or the rattle- the story involves some dude getting bitten. This Idaho man was attacked by a rattlesnake while visiting his parents in California. He required a large amount of antivenom to keep him alive. The hospital he went to ran out after using a whopping thirty-six vials.

He spent twelve days total in intensive care units of two different hospitals where medical professionals used antivenom. Could you imagine? They, they run out, so they gotta take you to another hospital.

Chris, who was on vacation with his wife Jenny, and their three children, was in the backyard checking a leaking pipeline when the snake just attacked. You don't hear that rattle, I would think, right? You don't hear the ts, ts, ts, and then it just, it comes out of nowhere. I bet that bite is vicious. That's gonna suck, especially right in front of the kids. It says right here, "My kids started freaking out, 'Dad's gonna die.'" They had to quickly drive to the hospital. Did he get helicoptered to a different hospital? Yeah. He was transported by hospital helicopter to a different hospital after that one hospital ran out of anti- antivenom. So if you see a rattlesnake, just kill that thing. Here's a trayou, all for you [laughs] on K-Bear one-oh-one. Idaho's only rock station, K-Bear one-oh-one. Uh, so there's this guy in the office by the name of Colby. I believe he is our

account executive. I don't know exactly what his, uh, title is. He's the business manager. He deals with numbers all day long. But if you see this dude, he's giant. He is actually a, uh, World's Strongest Man competitor. I don't-- Actually, I don't know if it's World's Strongest Man, but I know he does the Strongman competitions. He was just at one over the weekend, and he posted a video on his Instagram of him pulling a school bus with a rope. Pulling a school bus

He had the whole vest on him. The vest was connected to the front of the school bus. He was pulling it.

He's been asking me for

tickets to go see Weezer later on this summer, I believe in September. And I was asking Victor, I'm like, hey, Victor, since you're now the program director of K-Bear 101, can you get Colby these tickets?

And I told Victor that, yeah, Colby just won like first place at the Strongman competition over the weekend. And of course, you know, Victor, Victor the user, he's like, well, I now know who's going to help me move some stuff in and out of my house. It's no longer me. Thank goodness. I no longer am going to be invited over to Victor's place just to move some crap out of his basement up to his attic. Colby is now going to be the one to do so because he can actually most likely lift the entire house by himself. Yeah, I didn't realize he was that big, literally and figuratively, of a Weezer fan. That show and many other shows are on our concert calendar at riverbendmediagroup.com slash calendar. Weezer making their way to Salt Lake City. I forgot exactly what venue, but it is posted on that concert calendar. So obviously it is important to go out and seek help if you need it. 988 is the number to call. All right. 988. If you're dealing with anything, you can go see a counselor at any point.

Seek help if you need it. All right. If you're dealing with anxiety, bipolar disorder, like this man that I was reading about by the name of McLean Waddle. He's 41 years old. Back in 2015, he decided to drive from his home, a 25 minute drive from his home in Indian Trail to Carowinds to go try this this new roller coaster. This new roller coaster called Fury 325

features a 325 foot drop speeds up to 95 miles per hour. It is an extreme coaster. He rode this roller coaster for the first time back in March of 2015. As soon as the ride was over, he realized his keys were missing after the first ride. So familiar feelings of anxiety began to build.

So instead of freaking out, he decided, you know what, I'm going to ride this roller coaster again and again and again. He ended up riding 10 times that day. And with each time he had a stronger feeling of something unexpected. He said, I just felt amazingly calm and clear.

Fast forward to the 4th of July weekend, you know, from March 2015 to now,

this guy has completed his 14,000th ride on Fury 325.

It's become a part of his routine. I don't know if the park just allows him in for free or what, but if he pays the park admission every single time, how much money he has potentially spent at this amusement park is probably quite baffling. But he rides this to help to treat his anxiety, his bipolar disorder as well. Which I mean,

if you have any issues at all, I wouldn't recommend just straight up going to Lagoon and riding their biggest coaster. No, I would just suggest, hey, you should seek help if you need it. All right. 14,000 rides on the same roller coaster. I mean, roller coasters are supposed to help you with kidney stones, too. I remember reading that some lady rode Thunder Mountain at Disneyland and somehow her kidney stone just passed right through because it's such a bumpy ride. Dude, this story is insane. This customer reportedly suffered a fatal medical emergency inside a store in Los Angeles. Of course, it had to be L.A.

Employees say they performed CPR, but the customer could not be saved. What has people talking is what allegedly happened next. According to employees at the store, the store stayed open for hours with the body remaining, the person's body remaining in the bakery section while it was screened off with shopping carts and umbrellas. So customers, as customers continue shopping, there's just this body lying there.

The grocery chain says it worked with emergency responders, tried to handle the situation with privacy and sensitivity. But the incident has sparked a lot of criticism and questions about how situations like this should be handled. I mean, what do you do? Just close the store immediately, kick everybody out. Hey, somebody died here. Get out of the store right now. You know, you get that loss prevention officer,

which I find hilarious. Loss prevention officer. You get like that scrawny dude that's still in high school working that position, thinking he's somebody special with a badge, just telling everybody to get out of the Ralphs because someone died. That'd be the worst place to die to. One of the worst places, not the worst, but

you just die at a random grocery store in Los Angeles in the bakery section. You're right there next to the sourdough. They block off your body.

You just close the store. All right. Just close the store at that point. I'll have to send this story to my friend Matt. See if he knows which grocery store this one is. Maybe he's been to it before. I don't know. Oh, yeah, that's right. I forgot. Skillet dropped a new track July 10th called Scream. I might need to play that for It's So New coming up here in just a few. I know Nickelback is going to release a new track, I think tomorrow. Coming out of the cage, whatever it's called. They've been teasing it online for quite some time. That wasn't the whole point of

me talking on the air right now. What I wanted to talk about is this specific thing where you ever look at someone and think, wow, yeah, they totally match their first name.

You see someone that's named Joe. You're like, yeah, it looks like a Joe. Maybe a girl named Emily.

According to new research, there may actually be something to the fact that, hey, you meet someone that's grown into their name. Kids don't tend to match their names, uh, but adults often do. Which, of course, my first name is Brendan.

I've been told I look like an Adam, which I don't know how I, how, how [laughs] I'm supposed to interpret that. That was many years ago.

I like the name Brendan. It's unique. You know, we got Victor,

which I see Victor as Victor, not his real name. I don't see him as his real name. Any single time someone says his real name,

I'm like, that for- that's not him. That's Victor.

Does Victor's wife call him Victor, or does she get to call him by his real name?

I, I've said his real name on the show before. I don't know if I should share it again, 'cause he's not in here to confirm if it's okay or not. I'll let him decide that, but for those who know, they know. All right? Does the lead singer of this band look like a Johannes? [laughs] It's Avatar, Crying Fire on K-Bear 101. Peaches Pit Party right here on K-Bear 101, Idaho's only rock station. Do people still play Five Nights at Freddy's? I, I never got interested in that game. I wa- I watched the movie. I was never interested in the video game itself 'cause it just seemed so silly and... Not silly. It just seemed so dumb to switch between cameras. Uh, sure, there's a jump scare here and there. I, I like playing horror video games, but this one was just kinda like, eh. But the first movie was rather good. I think I watched it on a plane. Haven't seen the second one, but, but if you're a fan, if you're a fan of the, uh, franchise, unlike me, I guess you can now own a full-size Freddy Fazbear animatronic for $500. It's, uh, available via the Spirit Halloween website. The, the prop waves, sings, and moves its glowing eyes.

There you go. If you're already preparing for Halloween, I mean, we s- we're still a few months away. I have seen a few of those people that say, that, that have said online like, "Oh, the Fourth of July is over with. Now it's time for Halloween." My own sister even. She's, uh, she went to, uh, what was it? Hobby Lobby? 'Cause they're doing that summer... No, that wasn't Hobby Lobby 'cause they don't celebrate, uh, Halloween at Hobby Lobby. No, I think it was Michaels maybe? She went somewhere for a Summerween event and where wa- Did... Was it Ross, TJ Maxx that I saw these pumpkins that were already out? Like these plastic pumpkins with sunglasses on them 'cause it's a, a Summerween. Apparently Summerween is a, is a real thing, kinda like there, there's Christmas in July, you know, that whole thing. Anyway, if you wanna own the full-size Freddy Fazbear animatronic and you have $500 just to throw away, uh, there you go. Caramel from Sleep Token on K-Bear 101. Uh, I've talked about this on the show a few times how it was a few years back, I was, uh, getting ready for work. I got into the shower, and the shower mat that I had just bought the night before slipped out from under me. I, I think I grabbed onto the, uh, the shower curtain and just fell out of the shower completely. Just fell out of it. I almost hit my head on the, uh, the counter, the bathroom counter, which would've been the end of me, which would've been the one of the worst ways to die because somebody would've been... Somebody here in the office would've been like, "Hey, where's Peaches at?" And then they don't hear from me. They try calling me, you know, all of that. Then they make their way over to my apartment. One of them has to come see me naked. My shower's running. There's blood everywhere. You know, that kind of thing. Luckily, I ended up being okay. I, I stupidly, stupidly

[laughs] was just like laying there for a couple of seconds realizing what I did, and then got up and was able to, uh, you know, continue showering. Then I talked about it. I think it was right before, uh, Traffic School powered by the Advocates, uh, that morning anyway too. Uh, I felt, I re- I was... The reason why I'm talking about this is because there was this story that just popped up of this 82-year-old woman in North Carolina. She fell into her bathtub and became trapped there for nine days. She survived by using her foot to turn on the faucet so she could splash water into her face to stay hydrated until deputies finally found her after her brother asked for a welfare check. Nine days. Nobody was checking in on Grandma other than the nine days later they finally do show up and she's just in the bathtub screaming, "Help." Give Grandma a Life Alert. Well, she's now recovering, plans to move closer to family. I hope she moves in with the family. You know, they have that seat, that seated tub. I think my, my parents have a chair in the shower too, so once you reach that age, man, it's necessary. Idaho's only rock station, K-Bear 101, The Offspring. Why don't you get a job? Here we go with today's What the Headline! Imagine driving to work, looking over, and thinking, "Wow, that homeless encampment got huge overnight."

That's exactly what happened in downtown San Francisco. People were confused after a massive tent encampment suddenly appeared in the financial district. Turns out it wasn't real.

It was an incredibly realistic movie set for a new, uh, Netflix AI thriller being directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The fake tents looked so convincing that people thought the city had moved an encampment overnight, while others even reported it to city services before realizing it was a part of a film production. I do love that somewhere there was a guy willing to wor- or walking to work going, "I swear this wasn't here yesterday." Then five minutes later, you know, they see, "Oh, there's a camera here. Oh, this whole thing's fake." [laughs] I mean, with San Francisco, you never know. That is today's What the Headline right here on K-Bear 101. I've discovered something about the, uh, fitness industry. If you make it sound futuristic enough, somebody will spend three grand on it. A tech reporter bought one of those, or bought a $3,000 workout suit that uses electrical muscle simulation or stimulation to shock your muscles while you exercise. Celebrities like George Clooney have praised it. But a- but after [laughs] using it, the reviewer said it actually made him work out less because he started replacing his normal workouts with the suit. Ended up setting it, s- uh, sending it back. $3,000 to get electrocuted on purpose. You know, my grandparents would've called that, like, touching the electric fence. Can you imagine explaining that purchase? $3,000. Some people have too much money. If getting in shape was as easy as zapping yourself, every electrician would have six-pack abs, you know? Uh, I'll stick with walking. Doesn't cost three grand. Might cost me a few hundred dollars on new running shoes, 'cause I think my running shoes are on their, uh, their last limbs here. Whatever that phrase is, you know. I think my running shoes are about to wither away. I need some, uh, need some new ones. Anyway, here's Mafra with her cover of Doomed on K-Bear 101. Well, isn't that just terrific? What a, what a great way to, uh, end the show here on a Monday. Uh, this, uh, article popped up. The latest updated map tracking the explosive diarrhea cases [laughs] in the United States, and I'm seeing it here. Of course they had to make it brown colored. [laughs]

Wait, is Idaho not even... Why is Idaho grayed out?

Idaho, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and L- not Louisiana, that's Mississippi. Mississippi, Vermont, and Maine are all grayed out. Michigan's cases, way to go, Michigan, surged over 2,500 cases.

Again, I feel like pretty soon we're gonna start having people hoard the TP again.

There's gonna be those stories about people, uh, wearing three pairs of underpants,

staying six feet apart. You're gonna see those people that, that, that scream out, "I think I have the diarrhea virus." And they're, like, clenching their backside, you know, running to the nearest public restroom.

N- this would be a great time to avoid all public restrooms, 'cause you don't know what pig is going to enter one of those places and just leave a big mess

and walk away going, "You know what? That looks okay." There's like, there's like... It looks like the toilet has chicken pox with all these brown spots everywhere. "You know, that, that looks okay to me. I'll just spray some Febreze and we're good to go." [upbeat music] Thanks for listening to Peaches Pit Party, the podcast.
