You definitely want to experience all this stuff before the spoopy season's over with. We move on to Thanksgiving and then eventually Christmas, and then after that, New Year's. 2025, we're getting closer to it.

It's hard to believe that 2020 is almost 5 years ago. It's hard to believe also February 2021 was when I started here, and that February 1, 2025 is very rapidly approaching. And pretty soon, I'll be celebrating 4 years of being on the air here on Kebare. Time flies when you're having fun. 208-535-1015.

Vale of Maya is part of our k Bear at Rockin' Halloween coming up here soon to continue Peach's pit party on k Bear at 101. A very weird competition happened over in Hong Kong, the International Space Out Competition, which challenged participants to space out for 90 consecutive minutes.

The rules were very simple. No talking, no moving, no falling asleep. Every 15 minutes, judges checked heart rates to make sure everyone just remained super chill. The contest was created by this artist named Woopsyang Woopsyang. Is that how you say it?

W o o p s y a n g, who wanted to remind everyone that spacing out and taking a break to do nothing was important, especially in South Korea where many people take their work and careers very seriously. I wonder how South Korea got put into this when this competition got held in Hong Kong. That could be something we could do. The Khabarov Space Out Competition, why not put that as an idea for a promotion next year? The person who spaces out the longest gets, like, concert tickets or something.

Every time I'm talking with my friend Christian and, we discuss where friends are moving, where he potentially wants to move to. Before I moved out to Idaho, I was I was telling him, like, yeah. I'm thinking about going out to Idaho for this, radio job. And he goes, well, get ready for a lot of snow. That that that's, like, his signature phrase is to say, get ready for tornadoes.

If if, like, you're moving to Kansas, that's what he'll say to you, etcetera. Well, Zillow I was reading here. You can soon check for a home's climate risk on Zillow. In released last month, Zillow noted that the new score is based on the likelihood of a climate disaster taking place in any given area will show the risk in 5 main categories, flood, wildfire, wind, heat, air quality. It'll be on the company's website and iOS app by year's end.

Those with Androids can expect to see it the same, by early next year. I just found this kind of interesting. I mean, if you buy a house on a hill, you're at risk for sure of a mudslide, anything like that. I've always I I never understood those people that want to live on a hill. The driveways are incredibly steep.

It'll be tough to bring the groceries in. It'll be tough to just overall get to the house. It'll be fun leaving the house, especially if you go on, like, the morning jog around the neighborhood. You decide to leave the house. It'll be terrible coming back because you gotta climb uphill after your run's almost over.

I guess you could qualify this guy as the genius of the day. It's one thing to be into sports and to be into your favorite team. It's another thing to literally and physically attack others who are fans of different teams. This Baltimore Ravens fan, he went viral for his attack on 2 Washington Commander supporters. He was an insurance worker, some type of insurance worker.

He worked, well, he was dismissed by the firm of Maury, Donnelly, and Parr after footage of his incident where he just attacked these two people, knocked one of them out. Or I think he knocked both of them out. He he was posted all over Twitter. I'm just looking at the video right now. Yeah.

I think, any type of fighting any type of, like, public outrage nowadays, it's going to get filmed. You gotta be careful. We talk about it, here frequently. Like, imagine pulling a Karen and yelling at some, let's say, a Dairy Queen, for example, yelling at a Dairy Queen worker and having yourself go viral because of it. Would you ever wanna step foot outside ever again, or would you become a permanent work from home person and then see your video pop up occasionally online?

It would be a tough life to live. Now this guy has to live the rest of his life knowing he knocked out 2 people. Well, at least he didn't get knocked out. Imagine being the guys who got knocked out in this video. Well, he's now jobless too, so I would say he's the bigger loser in this situation.

And this right here is your Shot Clock Sports update. When Shohei Ohtani leads off the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight against the New York Mets, he'll be looking to snap a very weird streak. During this postseason, he's gone 0 for 19 when there's nobody on base ahead of him. But when there when there are runners on base, he's gone 6 for 8, which is a batting average of 0.750. The NLCS is tied at 1 one with game 3 tonight at Citi Field in New York.

In pro football news, NFL owners voted unanimously to have Atlanta host Super Bowl 62 in 2028. This will be the 3rd time Atlanta hosts the big game with the last one being in 2019. Before the Super Bowl rolls into town, Atlanta will be busy with big sporting events as they'll have the college football playoff championship game and Major League Baseball's all star game in 2025 and part of the FIFA Men's World Cup in 2026. In more pro football news, yesterday was a big day for NFL wide receivers, as Davante Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets, reuniting him with his former Green Bay quarterback, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Also on the move was Amari Cooper, who was dealt to the Buffalo Bills by the Cleveland Browns.

From the outside looking in, it seems the Raiders and the Browns are getting rid of impact players now with the hopes of improving next season while the Jets and Bills are scooping up impact players now with the hopes of making a playoff push this season. We'll see how that turns out. By the way, my Fantasy team won last week. I'm now 5 and 1. I'm really hoping I can just keep this thing going and only lose that one game.

I'll keep you updated on that as well. That does it for your Shot Clock Sports Update right here on Kay Barrel 101. Metallica and Stern, once again, they've teamed up for a, new edition of their 2013 pinball machine. Not Howard Stern, but company Stern. Stern says that with Metallica remastered, they've elevated the game to the modern era with gameplay, electronics, and presentation improvements.

Wow. $13,000 for a pinball machine. It's already sold out. The premium model, which costs $9,700, is still up for sale at Metallica's website. Do I take out a credit card like what Victor suggests with 0 interest and slowly pay that off?

I like how the Metallica website. I just went to the Metallica website, and it says new next to the Stern Pinball Metallica remastered, the premium model here. And then it says no discounts. $9,699. So the thing is is that I've always wanted to gift my dad a pinball machine, and his 60th birthday is next year in September.

Maybe. Do find a cheaper model, find a cheaper pinball machine to get him and have that be, like, his big 60th birthday present, a nice pinball machine. And he used to he apparently, he used to antagonize my mom by just going to the arcade with her back when my parents were dating, and he'd be like, just sit right there. I'm a play this pinball pinball game. I might bring back repressed memories of bringing a pinball machine to my parents' house.

I did see this video pop up on my Instagram, and it's funny because the lady turned off comments because she knows she is going to get a ton of hate. She was going to get a ton of hate posting this video. It's her waking up at, like, 5 AM to go to a Target in Saint Louis, Missouri to wait outside the store to then wait to wait for them to open, to then pick up this new Stanley Cup. I didn't realize these scenes were still popular. There's a new limited edition collection in collaboration with the upcoming movie Wicked, and these things are flying off the shelves.

People were going nuts over them. I watched the video. One video said that people went crazy, claimed there was nearly a brawl as customers rushed to get their hands in the beloved cups. There's that old video of people going Black Friday shopping. At least Black Friday has sort of died down compared to what it used to be.

I remember my parents waking up extra early to go look at all the deals, or they'd they'd leave in the middle of the night to go see all the great deals. Now it's more so just online. But, I there's there's old footage of a certain store on Black Friday where this news news team was covering this this mom and daughter duo where the daughter got a doll ripped out of her hands by another lady, and the lady's taunting the kid going, I have the doll. I I have the doll. It's somewhere out there online.

You gotta find it. It's pretty funny to watch. The University of Montana, their mascot is a grizzly bear named Monty, or it looks like Montay. But police issued an alert on Tuesday warning students and faculty of a real bear that was wandering around the campus. No.

It's not just some large student. Camp campus police said the intruder was first spotted near a bike rack outside a dorm, was later seen following a student around as they walked to class. That'd be pretty cool to have a bear just following you. The student said the bear was just not aggressive. The animal eventually moved on to a nearby court courtyard but still has not been, captured or removed from the campins campins campus.

Students are being urged to stay alert, report any bear sightings to police. He's not being aggressive. He's just chilling. Maybe he just wants to get some food at the cafeteria, bring some food out to him. Maybe.

I don't know. Didn't, aren't they going to hibernation soon? Get him all that food. Get ready for the big slumber. He might he might actually.

What if he falls asleep near the campus and wakes up in the springtime and just scares a whole bunch of students looking for food? Thanks for listening to Peach's Pit Party, the podcast.
